You start out with 5 tools that you find in your toolbox, these are: watering can, hoe, hammer, axe, sickle and pedometer. They all start out normal but you can level them up by using them a lot. The ones that you can level up are :Watering Can, Hoe, Hammer, axe, Sickle, and fishing pole. Take them too the blacksmith and he will level them up for you. You need 100% experience to level it up for first time, 200% for the second and so on. Once you get 100% you will need the tool, copper ore and 1000g to the blacksmith. Once you get 200% you will need the tool, silver ore and 2000g to the blacksmith. Once you get 300% you will need the tool, gold ore and 3000g to the blacksmith. Once you get 400% you will need the tool, mystrile and 5000g to the blacksmith.

Axe

Used to chop twigs and stumps to collect lumber
Affects of levelling up chops stumps in fewer hits:
Level 1: Can only chop, sticks
Level 2: Can chop stumps in 6 charged hits.
Level 3: Can chop stumps in 3 charged hits.
Level 4: Can chop stumps in 2 charged hits.
Level 5: Can chop stumps in 1 charged hit.
Bell
{Buy it from Yodel Farm.}
Use it to call your animals.
Brush
{Buy it from the blacksmith's.}
Use it to brush your animals so that they are happy.
Cursed Tools
Once you level up all of your tools to the mystrile level you can find the cursed tools in the winter mine. Once you have equipped a cursed tool you may not take it off unless it has been blessed or removed by carter. You can un-curse them by getting the mythic stone from the spring mine, the tool and 20,000g to the blacksmith.

Fishing Pole
{To get it you must have a open space in your rucksack, go to the beach and enter Zack's house then watch the cut scene.}
Used to catch fish.
Affect of leveling up lets you catch bigger and better fish.
Hammer

Smashes rocks, can flatten tilled soil and can smash old fences.
Affects of leveling up makes it easier to smash rocks:
Level 1: Can Only break Small Stones
Level 2: Can Break Big Rocks in 3 charged hits.
Level 3: Can Break Boulders in 6 charged hits.
Level 4: Can Break Boulders in 3 charged hits
Level 5: Can Break Big Rocks in 1 charged hit and Boulders in 2 charged hits.
Hoe

Tills the soil so you can plant crops and also used for mining.
Affects of leveling up- makes it till more soil at once.

Pedometer

Records the number of steps you take.
Sickle

Used to cut weeds and cut grass to turn it into fodder.
Watering Can

Used to water crops.
Affects of leveling up- makes the Can water more places at once.
