[edit] Areas

[edit] Crossroads

The first screen. There are two paths here, each holding a Monster Generator. During the day, they both send out an Orc Viking. At night, they both send out an Ogre Viking. In the Second Generation, the one on the right sends out a Silver Wolf at all times. The path on the right side leads nowhere, and the other one leads to the mouth of a cave system. In the left, there is an indent in the wall that bears two Rune Flowers. Across from this indent, there are gates that block the way to Iceberg Midway. If you go north, you'll be taken into the cave system.

[edit] Flowing River

The first screen of the cave system. As the name suggests, a river flows through the middle of the screen, which can be used to fish. There are two Monster Generators here: One in the middle, and one in the northeast. In the First Generation, they both send out a Silver Wolf at all times. In the Second Generation, they both send out a Necro. At night, the Necro that is sent out of the middle Generator is replaced by a Silver Wolf. There are a couple of rocks around the bottom and upper parts of the screen that can be used to mine. In the upper half of the screen, there are 4 squares of 9x9 tillable plots.

[edit] Blocked-Off Cave

This area can only be accessed in the Second Generation!
The area north of Flowing River. An altar blocks this area, so you will only be able to access it in the Second Generation. There is only one Monster Generator here that sends out two Dark Slimes during the day and the night. The area is also filled with rocks that can be used to mine. By using Inquisitive Waltz here, you can find Iron, Platinum, Silver, and Ruby.

[edit] Freezing Cave

In the northeast part of the screen, there is a Monster Generator. During the day, it sends out an Orc Viking. At night, it is replaced by an Ogre Viking. In the Second Generation, it instead sends out a Sky Fish and a Dorado, during the day and the night. In the middle of the screen, there are four squares of 9x9 tillable plots. At the north, there is an entrance to Ice Field. By the entrance, there is a Save Point. There are also a handful of rocks that can be used to mine. Along with that, there is a fishing area, and a water source that can be used to refill your watering can. The gate in the southeast corner leads to Iceberg - Midway.

[edit] Ice Field

There is one Monster Generator here that sends out two Orc Vikings in the day, and two Ogre Vikings during the night. In the Second Generation, there are no Monster Generators here, as it is the home of the Crystal Mammoth. By using Inquisitive Waltz here, you can find Diamond, White Grass, and Withered Grass.

[edit] Iceberg - Midway

This area can only be accessed in the Second Generation!
This area can be confusing, as it has many dead ends and indents in the walls. In the northwest, there is a Monster Generator that sends out an Orc Viking during the day, and an Ogre Viking during the night. Near the Monster Generator are two Rune Flowers. Another Generator in the southeast sends out two Flower Crystals during the day and the night. There's a path here between the center of the screen and the entrance of a cave in the upper right corner that leads to Freezing Cave. Another path in the south leads to Icy Path.

[edit] Icy Path

This area can only be accessed in the Second Generation!
On the eastern side of this screen there is a Monster Generator that is secluded on a block of ice, surrounded by water. You can only destroy it by using Magic, or bringing a monster with you that flies. The Generator sends out a Hunter Wold and a High Orc Viking during the day. At night, the High Orc Viking is replaced by a High Ogre Viking. East of the Generator is a path that leads to Unfrozen Lake. In the east, there is a dead end that has two Rune Flowers. By using Inquisitive Waltz in that area, you can find White Grass, Broken Hilt, Withered Grass, and Crystal Flower.

[edit] Unfrozen Lake

This area can only be accessed in the Second Generation!
There are two Monster Generators here: One in the center, and one in the northwest. The centered one can't be accessed physically, so you'll have to use magic or bring a monster with you. This Generator sends out a High Orc Viking during the day, and a High Ogre Viking during the night. The other Monster Generator sends out two Flower Crystals during the day and the night. There is a small body of water here that can be used to fish. In the northeast is a path that leads to The Tomb. The path in the southeast leads to Rushing Waterfall.

[edit] The Tomb

This area can only be accessed in the Second Generation!
There are four squares of 9x9 tillable plots here. There are also two Monster Generators here. One is in the northeast, and sends out a Faerie during the day, and a Necro at night. The other one, near the plots, sends out a Hunter Wolf during the day and the night. A few rocks are scattered around, and can be used to mine. In the southeast is a small series of steps. You can refill your watering can there, and fish as well. By using Inquisitive Waltz in the northeast, you can find Antidotal Herb, Red Grass, Noel Grass, and White Cabbage. If you take the path in the north, you'll come to Narrow Path.

[edit] Narrow Path

This area can only be accessed in the Second Generation!
A long, horizontal path. At both ends there are Monster Generators. The one in the east sends out a Slime, and the one in the west sends out 2 Slimes during the day and the night. In the east side there are five rocks scattered around. If you use Inquisitive Waltz in this area, you can find Antidotal Herb, Emerald, Broken Hilt, Orange Grass, and Red Grass. In the opposite end, there are two Rune Crystals. In this end there is an Altar that leads to Ice Field. If you take the steps to the east you will reach the Shrine.

[edit] Shrine

This area can only be accessed in the Second Generation!
The Shrine is the northern half of the ruins system seen on the map. The southern half is bordered by water, and almost inaccessible. However, you can access it by going north at Rushing Waterfall. In this area is a Monster Generator that sends out a Tundra at all times. There is also a Monster Generator in the north that you can reach by climbing up the northern staircase. It sends out a Little Wizard and a Tundra during the day and the night. In the northern wall is the entrance to the Iceberg Underground Shrine, accompanied by a Save Point. Note that you will only have access to it after you've defeated the final boss, Fiersome. Other than that, there are no other exits in this area, so you'll have to backtrack to the Tomb.

[edit] Rushing Waterfall

This area can only be accessed in the Second Generation!
This area is mostly made of platforms connect by staircases. There are many fishing areas here as well. The platform you'll be taken to when you enter this area occupies the southwest corner. The platform east of this one houses a Monster Generator that sends out a Little Wizard during the day, and a Faerie at night. The platform north of this one sends out a Tundra at all times. By going north, you will be taken to the bottom bit of the Shrine.

[edit] Altars

All the altars will give you an Ice Stone Tablet Fragment.

  • First Altar

The first altar, located at Flowing River, requests that you give it 4 gems that are 'as blue as the ocean'. The gem it is referring to is Aquamarine. Once you bring it four Aquamarines, it will then request 3 Diamonds.

  • Second Altar

The second Altar, located at Rushing Waterfall, request that you till all the plots at Flowing River, Freezing Cave, and the Tomb. Note that if there are items or poison squares in the plots, you must remove them.

  • Third Altar

The third altar, located at Narrow Path, requests that you defeat 4 Tundras at the Shrine. After that, it will then request that you defeat 5 High Ogre Vikings at Icy Path. Then, it will request that you defeat 6 Dark Slimes at Block-Off Cave.

  • Fourth Altar

The fourth altar does not blatantly request anything of you. It will only let you pass after you've beaten the Crystal Mammoth.
