[edit] Background

"A Wonderful Life" was the first of the popular series to hit the Gamecube. The game consists of farming, ranching, befriending villagers, marrying and raising your child. “AWL” plays as a one player RPG (Role Playing Game) meaning you will have to eat and sleep just like we do. Seasons pass, making the game feel more realistic- so you have to plant your crops in the right season or all of your hard work will have been wasted! Although, this is an RPG where you have no stat building, fighting or saving the world like a traditional one. However, the harder you work, you will notice that the character will finish tasks slighty quicker since he will be getting stronger. The simplicity is what makes the game and the series so addicting. You live a normal life that is not often done in other games. This is what makes you come back to play again and again.

But later on, you and your father’s business partner (Takakura) decide to fix up the farm and turn it into a success.(Just like your father wanted!)
