[edit] How to get the Fishing Rod

Once you get the fishing rod and the boat, then you can go fishing.

There are a couple of steps you need to take in order to get the fishing rod.

1. To start off you must become friends with Billy. Give him things you find in the forest, crops, whatever you like. Soon you guys will be friends.

2. One day Billy will ask to borrow your hammer. Let him, and the hammer will be taken out of your inventory. A few days later he'll return it to you. As thanks for letting him borrow it he'll give you a fishing rod.

[edit] How to Fish

To use it go up to the water and press 'A'. You'll see a line go out. When the bobbing thing at the end begins to move, press 'A' again. You should then catch a fish.

If you don't want to eat or sell the fish you've caught, you can always give them to the aquarium. When you've donated one of each kind of fish the owner will give you a Powerberry.
