Background

There are a lot of bachelors in this game; eleven to be exact. Five are normal bachelors, five are mineral town bachelors, and one is a special bachelor. To help you, here is a list of all the bachelors, including a small description of them and/or their background, their birthdays, their basic likes and dislikes, and their rivals:

Normal Bachelors

Carter

Description: Carter works at the Dig Site in the Northeast part of the Valley. He lives in a tent that he, and his research partner, Flora, set up. It holds a few basic knickknacks and a couple of sleeping bags, but nothing much. He is very serious about his work in the dig site, but is always happy when Flora finds something new for them to research. Although, he's not so hot about her cooking.

Griffin

Description: Griffin is a nice man who likes to play his guitar in his spare time; but he also owns the Blue Bar. It was passed down from generation to generation, until he eventually got it. He has his own little abode in the back of the bar, just a simple table, chairs, and bed setting with wooden walls and floors, while his guitar sits in the corner. When Muffy moved out of the city and came to Forget-me-not, he gave her a place to stay and a job as well, so she now inhabits a spare room in the back of the bar.

Gustafa

Description: Gustafa is a free-spirited man who roams around the village. He lives in the yurt near Daryll's laboratory. It has a bunch of knickknacks and a couple of instruments, so it's very colorful on the inside. You can sometimes find him playing his guitar. He first moved to Forget-me-not while he was travelling. He had been to many places, but claimed that none was more beautiful and in sync with nature than Forget-me-not. He's kind and loves to play music for anyone who takes the time to listen.

Marlin

Description: Marlin is Vesta's brother. His family's farm used to be located near the city, but they moved to Forget-me-not in search of more land. He, his sister, and a young girl named Celia, work together on the farm. Unknown to Celia, Marlin has a small crush on her, but there is the chance that your able to change his mind. He may seem grumpy at first, but if you become good enough friends, he'll open up to you.

Rock

Description: Rock is the son of Ruby and Tim, although he looks nothing like them. His father, Tim, went away, and still has yet to return. This causes his mother to worry. Oddly enough, It doesn't bother Rock. He is extremely outgoing, and thinks very highly of his looks and class. He can be very obnoxious, often thinking that any girl would just swoon over him. Since he thinks so highly of himself, he is often seen flirting with any girl he finds pretty.

Mineral Town Bachelors

Description: Cliff will only appear in your game if you plug in FoMT or MFoMT into your DS' GBA slot. He's a rather shy young man, and has a sad past, which gives him a right if he seems rather gloomy. One day, he left home to go travelling, when he finally returned to his family, he found out that his mother had passed away and that his sister is nowhere to be found. After that, he moved to Mineral Town. He has a lot of trouble around girls, but if you get to know him, he'll open up to you.

Gray

Description: Gray will come to visit the valley every Thursday when the blacksmith shop is closed. He spends most of the day in the Dig Site with Carter and Flora. He enjoys working at the dig site, and often uses the time to think about his life in Mineral Town. His grandfather pushes him hard in his work, and this causes Gray to wonder why. But, even though he doesn't like the idea of returning to his nagging grandfather, he knows that that's life and you just have to deal with it. He's shy and can seem grumpy, but he's actually a pretty nice guy.

Kai

Description: During the Summer season, Kai will arrive in the valley, even if you haven't inserted your FoMT or MFoMT game into the DS' GBA slot. This makes him more accessible than the other Mineral Town boys. He works at a little shack called the Snack Shack. There, he cooks dishes for others to eat, but of course they have to pay. He's a talented cook and is very outgoing. The reason he only comes during the summer, is because he likes to travel the world during the other seasons.

Description: Rick isn't that outgoing, but he's not really shy either. He only comes to visit on Sundays, that way he can keep an eye on his little sister, Popuri. He's very protective of both his mother, Lillia, and his younger sister, ever since their father left. His mother is an ill woman, who runs a poultry farm back in Mineral Town. The reason their father left, was so that he could find a flower to cure Lillia, but he's yet to return. Rick considers Kai an enemy, due to the fact that Popuri likes him.

Trent

Description: Trent is the doctor of Mineral Town. He comes to visit every Wednesday, when the clinic is closed. Travelling alongside him to Forget-me-not, is his nurse, Elli. Both of them train under the watchful mechanic eye of Dr.Hardy, who considers Trent to be like a son. Trent is quiet, but serious about his work.

Special Boy

Skye

Description: Skye is the village thief. He only comes to the valley late at night, on any sunny day. Every time he comes to steal something, he will leave a note for the victims to find at the beginning of the day, telling them when he would be coming. He is a very skilled thief, and a sweet talker at that. He is very flirtatious with the girls of the valley, and if they don't fall to his swooning charms, he will use his special 'Maiden Chick Beam' to freeze them, before making his escape. He aspires to become a great Curry Chef, which is why he steals.
